The Association of Breast Surgery at BASO has contributed to a number of guidelines in recent years Guidelines for the management of symptomatic breast disease The Symptomatic Guidelines were revised in 2005 and were published in the European Journal of Surgical Oncology. They are due to be reviewed in January 2008. Download full guidelines.PDF (256.KB) Quality Assurance Guidelines for Surgeons in Breast Cancer Screening The National Coordinating Group for Surgeons in Breast Screening, along with the Association of Breast Surgery at BASO, produced the third edition of the Screening Guidelines in November 2003. These Guidelines can be downloaded from www.cancerscreening.nhs.uk. Oncoplastic Breast Surgery - a guide to good practice These guidelines have been produced on behalf of the Association of Breast Surgery at BASO, BAPRAS and the Training Interface Group in Breast Surgery. They were published in the European Journal of Surgical Oncology in August 2007.
