Welcome to the Association of Breast Surgery at BASO
The primary purpose of the ABS, acting as the voice for breast surgery in the UK, is to achieve a better outlook for women affected by breast disease. We are doing this through education, training, service improvement and provision of information.
Our Association is widely represented across the British Isles and we are strengthening our links abroad. We are strongly committed to supporting the NHS Breast Screening Programme and to providing overall excellence in breast cancer treatment through the implementation of evidence based guidelines and audit of care.
